The weather here in Toronto is getting really cold and freezing, which means its the perfect time to layer and bundle up to stay warm. I know most feel like it’s impossible to be both stylish and warm during the winter but it is possible!

For today’s look, I chose to pair up this chunky red sweater with half faux leather half cotton leggings along with over-the-knee high studded boots and a cheetah blouse tied around my waist to help achieve my overall comfy-edgy look.

Details:

Red Wool-Blend Turtleneck Sweater: H&M

Black Half Faux Leather Half Cotton  Leggings: BCBG

Leopard Blouse: H&M

Leather Studded Over-the-knee boots: Le Chateau

Accessories: Aldo Accessories

Outfit of The Day: Laid-back attitude

The lovely Croniclesoftheseers oops I mean Seerlee Archer came for a visit in Toronto on July 11th 2014, and of course Shanice and I had to go see her! Unfortunately I had school in the morning and I didn’t feel like going all out like I normally do, so I decided to go for a laid-back outfit. People often think that dressing casual or laid-back means that you can’t look fashionable…WRONG…. All you have to do is invest in some key casual pieces that are also statement-makers! Here’s my “Laid-back Attitude” Outfit of The Day:

Outfit of The Day: Pink Panther

Hey darlings!

I had a job interview downtown Toronto last Tuesday and the most important question that was running through my mind was”What am I going to wear?” I really didn’t want to wear the whole head to toe black with a white blouse outfit again, so I decided to take a risk and shake it up a notch and wear something different. Take a look below at my Pink Panther Outfit Of The Day:

Orange Crush

Orange can be a tricky colour to pull off, especially since its so bright, but it can also be hard to mix and match with other pieces from your wardrobe. But orange doesn’t have to be such an experimental colour, take a look below at one way to style orange trousers;Orange Crush

Outfit of The Day: Jazzy Jeff

I had to go to Value Village to purchase a second hand jean for my Trend Analysis class but I ended up purchasing two tops from there. If it wasn’t for my lovely friend Ameena keeping me under control, I honestly think I would’ve brought every single item in that whole store.  Since the weather was truly beautiful yesterday, I was super excited to finally wear my 1990’s tribal colorful mix print top!

Take a look below to see  how I styled it :
